Charles-Emmanuel Guise began his career as a church craftsman in 2010 in Birmingham with the creation of the reliquary for John Henry
Newman. He was recently appointed to the Ordre national du Mérite for his contribution to the restoration of Notre-Dame de Paris.
On June 13, Charles-Emmanuel shared his journey from UN humanitarian worker in the suburbs of Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to
leading church craftsman restoring one of the world's most famous cathedrals.
