The Alliance Franciase de Milwaukee is Wisconsin's resource forsharing and experiencing the educational, cultural, professional, and social life of the French-speaking world.
The Alliance Française is a non-profit 501[c][3] corporation dedicated to promoting French language, literature, history and culture and to encouraging French-American cultural exchange and friendship.
As an Alliance Française de Milwaukee member or student, you have the opportunity to share a love of the French language, culture, art, and history as you join with other members of your community to see a French theater performance or film, listen to a renowned lecturer, enjoy regional French cuisine, and study those verbs!
Students are strongly encouraged to become members of the Alliance Française de Milwaukee, as it instills one with a sense of belonging, commitment, and pride.
Learning a foreign language, as well as learning about those who speak it, are invaluable ways for us to gain interest in, respect for, and understanding of other world cultures.
